DOC has just received the August 2009 Newsletter issued by  the Environment Agency   which primarily covers matters concerning the Broomhill Sands Sea Defences and associated geotechnical  ground investigation works to be carried out early in September 2009 in preparation for the scheme. For all Members who live near Broomhill or  those who frequently visit this location, please note the public safety instructions and observe all safety notices issued by the Contractors whilst the work is in progress.
