Despite the heroic efforts to continue the shingle recharge, even in the snow, we seem to be back where we started from on 12.1.2009! One high tide has taken every  single cubic metre of shingle which had been deposited during the last month  and which is now making it’s way towards Dungeness where it becomes ‘untouchable’ and can no longer be used for recycling!.
